Movement Therapy
Connecting to your creative self
What's DMT
DMT is a form of psychotherapy that uses movement to support emotional and physical well-being. Rooted in the mind-body connection, it helps people express themselves in safe, supportive ways—through both movement mainly.
The Process - LARA
DMT supports the body’s resilience, authenticity, and connection to itself and others. The person-centered approach offers a compassionate relationship to help you find autonomy and creative resources for life.
Listen
Listen to your body—its feelings, sensations, thoughts, and memories. Find your sensitivities by getting in touch with it.
Allow
Allow your body to be—to stay still or to move. To breathe in and out consciously. To express itself through movement.
Reflect or Redirect
Reflect on the emotions that arise, and gently redirect them toward your goals.
Absorb
Absorb and integrate the insights and new perspectives you can bring into your daily routine.
Work With Me
The mission is to help you explore authenticity, self-awareness, and inner resources through body movement and creativity.
Sessions may include music, dance, breathing exercises, active meditation, and conversation, as needed.

1 to 1
Individual sessions are tailored to your needs. Through movement and creative expression, we explore emotions, patterns, and inner resources. The therapeutic relationship supports the process.

Group Sessions
Group sessions offer a shared space for connection and growth. Using movement, play, and creative exploration, we build trust, regulate emotions, and support self-expression.

Online Sessions
Online sessions provide flexible support in English or Portuguese, allowing you to connect from anywhere. Through movement, reflection, and creative tools, we’ll work together to support your growth and well-being.
